I'm all about keeping my brain in my skull and help in any situation that goes against this idea. I don't mind wearing helmets, it's a habit now. The one's I've had, I liked, but never really looked into the construction aspects of it, just figured it'd do it's job. When I think helmet, I think weight, ventilation and cool factor yet take for granted the actual safety tech (I thought the stickers inside had that covered). This vid by Anirudha Surabhi has made me think twice.
It sounds like a promising idea that one day I'd like to see on this side of the pond. With guys dropping left and right anymore with concussions, perhaps the NFL (i.e. football) should look into this sort of tech too. Take it from something whose whole existence revolves around smashing its head into trees. The woodpecker knows man.
